Orthophos® SL dental cone beam/ 3D scans

Enamel Clinic has always been at the forefront of dental innovation. We are delighted to be able to offer 3D X-rays using our Orthophos^® SL 3D machine.

This is a state-of-the-art dental scanner and is used by the cosmetic dental surgeons, Dr Mark Bowes and Dr Sheryl Smithies for Digital Smile Design cases, implant and restorative cases. It is also used by our endodontist for root canal treatments. Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of X-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial X-rays are not sufficient. Your doctor may use this technology to produce 3D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan. Cone beam CT has the advantage of lower radiation exposure compared to conventional CT.
