Our space was designed to give our patients a sense of warmth and comfort, from the minute they step into the practice. By embracing curves and organic shapes, we’ve managed to create a sense of peace and natural transition.
The result was a serene and relaxing environment in a dental clinic. This may seem a little paradoxical at first (relax at a dental clinic??), but with strategic design and physiological techniques, it’s exactly the outcome.
Your environment impacts your behaviour. We wanted to help our patients move away from the typical cold and clinical feel that often comes with dental visits. Our goal was for patients to feel at ease, calm and safe. We used curved lines, muted earthy tones, greenery and a minimalist approach, known to relax and soothe.

Our reception team is not only warm and welcoming, but also highly efficient. Our very busy practice often has them juggling multiple tasks and platforms at once – but they make it look so easy!
While lounging in our bright and breezy reception area, you can enjoy some still or sparkling water to cool down on a warm day, or perhaps you’d like a frothy cappuccino.
Our reception area flows out into the balcony seating and bar area – imagine enjoying some fresh air while you wait, sipping your coffee while staring out over a spectacular view in the heart of beautiful Cape Town.

We take pride in a pristine space. Being a Slow Dentistry Clinic, we commit to four primary cornerstones during treatments. One of these cornerstones places a heavy focus on operating in an impeccably clean environment, and using equipment that has been thoroughly cleaned and sterilised.

Digital Smile Design
As a DSD clinic – the first in South Africa – we utilise minimally invasive treatments to rehabilitate your smile in a cost-effective way. Digital Smile Design (DSD) is a facially driven process whereby our smile architects use 3D scans, X-rays and images of your face to plan a smile rehabilitation to fit with the natural aesthetics of your face. DSD allows us to provide a predictable, precise and effective outcome.
And, you will be able to see and feel your completed smile before we start the treatment process and provide your input every step of the way.
Our space is designed with everyone in mind
Our practice makes full allowance for those with impaired mobility, and parents with very young children. Wider corridors, elevators and a designated bathroom allow for ease of movement of wheelchairs, strollers and other walking aids. We also provide assistance where needed, so our patients know that their safety, comfort and well-being are of utmost importance to us.
It’s in the little things
At Enamel Clinic, we believe that a pleasant patient experience begins with the little things. We recognise that our sense of smell plays a significant role in mood and emotion, which can affect one’s experience or association with a space.
We’ve placed our signature aromatic scent around our practice to ensure that fragrances inducing vitality and relaxation flow throughout the space, from our rooms to our restrooms.
Longer appointments place strain on the neck and back – and not only for the dentists! We make use of Happynecks neck and lumbar support on our dental chairs, for our patients’ added comfort.
